World-class medicine for better quality of life

The Swiss Continence Foundation wants to advance research in Neuro-Urology and functional urology and distributes knowledge in the fields mentioned above by supporting high-quality specialized training and educational events.

The support of outstanding research projects is supposed to bring about a lasting improvement of knowledge in the field of Neuro-Urology and functional urology in order to increase the quality of patient care as well as the patients’ quality of life in the long-term.

By supporting high-quality specialized training and educational events the foundation sets itself the goal of distributing state-of-the art expert knowledge and innovative results obtained through research and educational projects in the field of Neuro-Urology, functional urology, as well as associated medical fields to expert circles and to the public. This is done by public events, publications, lectures etc. The foundation furthermore informs and consults on state-of-the-art internationally recognized research results in an objective way.

In addition to existing institutions and centers, the Swiss Continence Foundation is supposed to complete the range of professional and practice-oriented organizations and pursues exclusively non-profit objectives.
